For those who want a more traditional setting than the Council Chamber but still want the grandeur of the Town Hall's 1920s design, we are now able to offer the Richmond Room as the Town Hall's latest ceremony room. The long room provides an excellent space for any happy couple, featuring oak panelling, high, elaborate ceilings, and large windows providing ample natural light. The Richmond Room is only available on Saturdays (except the second Saturday of each month).
NB: To help respect our neighbours, there are a number of restrictions to the music which may be incorporated into a ceremony in the Richmond Room. No amplified live music is permitted during the ceremony and the volume of recorded music is also capped. Acoustic live music is permitted. Your registrar will be allocated a month before. Please email us a month before your ceremony at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will put you in touch with them. You can then arrange to meet that person or talk on the phone at a time of mutual convenience to discuss your ceremony.
